Easy SkyMesh uses Meshtastic nodes with Tracker role to track personnels and assets in the mesh network. A Meshtastic tracker is a node that is configured to automatically broadcast its GPS location at intervals — ideal for tracking people, vehicles, pets, or equipment in off-grid or remote environments.
How it works
A node with tracker role will:
- Wake up periodically
- Get a GPS fix
- Broadcast its location message to the mesh
- May go back to sleep to save battery
- Do NOT relay messages from other nodes
